Election Defenders and Joy To The Polls | Oct. 2020 - Jan. 2021

  • Managed Instagram and Twitter for nonpartisan voter protection initiatives of The Frontline, a 501c3 that provided volunteers trained in deescalation and pandemic voter care as well as roving pop-up musical performances at polling places in key states to bring joy to the democratic process on Nov. 3 and during the Georgia Senate runoffs.

  • Tweeted viral video of voters dancing in line at the polls in Philadelphia during early voting that received 7.8m views and extensive media coverage including hits from TIME, Buzzfeed, the Rachel Maddow Show, and more.

  • Liaised with Election Defenders spokespersons on the ground in Michigan and Arizona on Election Day, produced press releases and handled communications team press inquiries for those key states.

  • Helped produce and cover a two-day Count-Every-Vote dance party outside the Pennsylvania Convention Center during the 2020 general election to counter anti-democracy protestors threatening to disrupt the ballot counting process. Footage I shot of local Philly artists dressed as dancing mailboxes (to celebrate the mail-in vote) were featured on The John Oliver Show.

  • Managed social media teams covering Joy To the Polls events in multiple polling places in five Georgia counties known for voter suppression during the 2021 special election Senate runoff races.

  • Worked with Atlanta-based social media influencers Collab Crib and Valid Crib, boasting a combined 20 mil followers, to amplify our get-out-the-vote messaging at events headlined by entertainers like Rick Ross and Ne-Yo.

  • Helped pivot postponed 2020 festival online with social media and copy team

  • Led YouTube chats for global "We Are One" film festival in June 2020, reaching audience of 1M

Resistance Revival Chorus, NYC | Sept. '18 - Present

  • Launched grassroots marketing campaign and created socials toolkit for the chorus’s $30k album crowdfund goal, reaching 51% of total within the first week

  • Assistant produced weekly "Resistance Revival Night" livestream showcase featuring chorus and guest artists over 12 weeks of COVID-19 lockdown

  • Promote chorus performances, including bookings at Carnegie Hall, Apollo Theater, Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, SNL, and The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon

  • Manage Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube platforms
